This month, we’re particularly excited about our 6’s Series Event on October 26th, and I want to personally let you know that we’ll be closing the course on October 28-29 for essential facility upgrades. This brief investment in our course ensures we continue delivering the exceptional playing conditions you’ve come to expect from Aquella.

October has arrived at Aquella, and there’s something special in the air!
It’s the perfect time to embrace fresh beginnings, connect with our community, and enjoy everything our beautiful course has to offer.
Our popular 6’s Series Event 5 is back on Sunday, October 26th – picture yourself teeing off with fellow golf enthusiasts at 12:00 in a shotgun start, followed by a delicious buffet dinner, exciting lucky draws, and great prizes to be won. It’s not just about the golf (though that’s pretty great too) – it’s about sharing laughs, making memories, and celebrating this amazing game we all love.
Please note: Our golf course will be temporarily closed on October 28-29 for facility upgrades to keep our fairways and greens in pristine condition, but don’t worry – The Approach restaurant, Pro Shop, driving range and our mini-golf remain open for your enjoyment during this time.

Finding Your Perfect Club Length
Ever wondered if your clubs are the right fit for you? You’re not alone! Getting the right club length can make a huge difference in your game, and we’re here to help you understand what works best.
Here’s what you should know: Most drivers come in around 45 inches for men (slightly shorter for women), while your trusty irons and wedges typically measure around 35-38 inches. Your putter? That’s usually somewhere between 33-35 inches, depending on what feels comfortable for you.But here’s the thing – these are just starting points! Every golfer is unique, and what works perfectly for your playing partner might not be ideal for you.
Taller golfers generally benefit from longer clubs, while shorter golfers often play better with shorter ones. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where you feel balanced and confident over the ball.
Quick reference for standard lengths:
- Drivers: Around 45″ for men, slightly shorter for women
- 5-Iron: About 38″, with each shorter club decreasing by roughly half an inch
- Putters: 33-35″, based on your comfort and stance

We’d love you to meet Khun Suttida Bunsin, who everyone calls Som!
As our Human Resources Officer, Som brings such wonderful energy to Aquella every day. Originally from Thai Muang right here in Phang Nga, she’s truly part of our local community. What Som loves most about working here is the incredible variety – she gets to meet so many different people and is always learning something new, whether she’s in the office or out on the golf course. And speaking of golf, you might just spot her playing during her free time! She enjoys everything from mini golf to full rounds with her colleagues.
Som’s got this amazing sense of humor and cheerful personality that makes her so easy to work with. Her big dream? She’s working hard to sharpen her HR skills with hopes of becoming an HR Manager in the future. We’re lucky to have someone so dedicated and fun-loving on our team!

Meet Khun Pakamas Namsom, better known as Look-Pla (Caddie No. C054)!
She’s been part of our Aquella family for almost two years now, and we honestly can’t imagine the course without her bright presence. Also hailing from Thai Muang in Phang Nga Province.
She gets genuinely excited about meeting customers from all over the world and making their golf experience memorable.When she’s not helping golfers on the course, Look-Pla enjoys watching golf matches (she’s always picking up new tips!). But here’s what makes her truly special – she has this incredible ability to make golfers smile just with her own warm, genuine smile. It’s contagious in the best way possible.
