In preparation, our course maintenance team will be conducting essential Golf Course Coring on June 11-12, 2025. While this brief maintenance period may cause temporary adjustments to play, it’s crucial for maintaining our championship standards throughout the green season and ensuring optimal playing conditions for both the tournament and your daily rounds.

Understanding Course Rules: Excellence in Practice
Familiarising yourself with proper course etiquette enhances everyone’s experience. Natural elements like leaves and twigs, classified as loose impediments, can be moved freely across the course, including in bunkers and penalty areas. Similarly, artificial items such as water bottles or scorecards are considered movable obstructions and may be cleared with reasonable effort.
While moving these items, remember that ball movement from obstruction removal carries no penalty, but movement caused by loose impediment removal incurs a one-stroke penalty. These guidelines ensure smooth play while maintaining the integrity of our championship course.

The golf course maintenance team continues their meticulous green management program this month. Working in carefully planned zones to minimize impact on play, our team has been implementing essential venting procedures. This precise maintenance allows air and water to penetrate efficiently to the root systems while enabling built-up gases in the soil to escape, effectively relieving stress on the greens.
Using specialized 3/8″ tines, this bi-weekly venting process is crucial for maintaining healthy putting surfaces. The procedure creates strategic holes in the turf, removing thatch while allowing air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots. This systematic approach helps improve drainage, promotes healthy root growth, and ensures firmer, smoother putting surfaces for your optimal playing experience.

Khun Ariya (Thai) Phongsongkram, with over a decade of professional experience and three years specifically at Aquella Golf, Khun Ariya, Caddie No. C004, exemplifies service excellence.
Originally from Nongbualampoo Province, Thai finds joy in contributing to golfers’ happiness while appreciating Aquella’s beautiful course setting. She approaches challenges as learning opportunities, maintaining that “the caddie job is not finished – we must learn all the time. The more we know, the experience we receive.”
When not enhancing our guests’ golfing experience, Thai enjoys unwinding at home watching series, bringing a balanced perspective to her professional role.
Khun Surachai (Nay) Janjuea, brings dedication and efficiency to his role as Housekeeping Attendant at Aquella.
Originally from Thai Muang, Phang Nga Province, Nay has found happiness and growth opportunities during his year with us. His philosophy that “success doesn’t come from hard work but comes from working efficiently” reflects in his daily contributions. Working alongside a supportive team, Nay balances his professional commitment with dedicated family time, caring for his children during off-hours.
His career vision demonstrates loyalty and purpose – committed to Aquella until his children achieve financial independence, after which he aspires to pursue independent ventures.
